Premium Way Road Closure Poll

As you know, as part of the QEW Credit River bridge improvement project, the Ministry of Transportation is realigning Premium Way by moving it north. In order to facilitate this construction work, Premium Way needs to be closed for a period of time.

There are two closure options. I am seeking your feedback on which option you prefer.

Option 1 (Less inconvenient, but for a longer period)

One lane allowing traffic in both directions, open at all times.

Construction time: 220 Days - June 18th 2021 to May 3rd, 2022

Option 2 (More inconvenient, but for a shorter period)

Premium Way is completely closed in two phases.

Phase 1: Premium Way is completely closed between Stavebank Road and Dickson Road while the rest of Premium Way is open (55 days).

Phase 2: Premium Way is completely closed between Dickson Road and Lynchmere Ave while the rest of Premium Way is completely open (46 days).

Construction time: 101 Days - May 18th, 2021 to October 28th, 2021.
