Calling all Youth: The Sauga Summer Pass is Here
Looking for an easy way to get around Mississauga while having fun with your friends? Look no further than the Sauga Summer Pass (formerly the Freedom Pass).
If you’re a Mississauga youth, aged 12 to 14 years, you can apply to get a Sauga Summer Pass that allows you to ride MiWay and access all indoor and outdoor City of Mississauga pools for free. The pass is valid from Friday, July 1 to Wednesday, August 31.
Applying for a Pass
Applications for the Sauga Summer Pass will be accepted at City community centres starting Sunday, May 1, during National Youth Week. Quantities are limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis. Application forms can be downloaded and printed by visiting mississauga.ca/summerpass or picked up at any City community centre.
To get a Sauga Summer Pass:
forms must be submitted in person at any City community centre
all forms are to be signed (parent/guardian signature is required)
one piece of ID must be provided, displaying proof of age
a photo must be taken by City customer service staff to add to the pass
About the Pass
Pass holders have access to City swimming pools during designated drop-in recreational swimming times only. To view scheduled pool times, visit ActiveMississauga.ca or inquire at the pools. All pool safety and admission guidelines are in effect.
The pass is only valid on MiWay and transfers will not be issued. Pass holders must show a valid Sauga Summer Pass to the Transit Operator when boarding a MiWay bus to ride for free.
It’s mandatory to wear a face mask on MiWay buses and inside terminal buildings under the Province’s Reopening Ontario Act and associated regulations until Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
