Peel Public Health is continuing conversations with the province to determine if, given the extent of risk in our community, whether we can consider all of Peel a 'hot spot' for the purposes of the vaccination rollout. Should they receive approval we will provide a further update.
Mass Vaccination Clinic Updates
Another milestone has been met today with the opening of the Chris Gibson Recreation Centre public health vaccination clinic. We are now able to vaccinate as many as 9,700 people per day across the system and have had excellent uptake over the Easter holiday weekend since those 60 years and older became eligible on April 2.
